Windsor granted $6.9 million in compensation for dealing with the “Freedom Convoy” protests

Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino says it will help pay for costs related to the blockades, including policing. Windsor has been asking for compensation, citing the high costs of business closures and restoring public order.
